Low Carbon Australia, Wiley announce alliance

Low Carbon Australia and leading food construction company Wiley have formed an alliance to offer solutions for food and meat processing industries looking to beat rising energy prices.

Through the alliance, Low Carbon Australia and Wiley are offering bundled finance and technical expertise to deliver purpose-built systems, helping businesses transform their operations and position themselves for the long term through process, air conditioning, refrigeration upgrades and biogas capture projects.

Low Carbon Australia’s CEO Meg McDonald said Wiley’s nearly 100 years of operations meant it had a strong understanding of Australian food and meat processing and a proven track record of providing clients with quality long-term solutions.

Wiley’s Business Development Director Andrew Newby said food manufacturers were feeling the effects of increased costs right across their operations, specifically with energy pricing and the impact of a high Australian dollar.

"Our aim is to increase value to the client, reduce waste and maximise efficiency throughout all phases of a project,” he said, “Low Carbon Australia’s tailored finance assists our clients to make key decisions earlier, allowing us to deliver their projects faster."
